| Lancr is out of a very special breeding using the last straw of frozen semen from Cedarwood's First Offense (aka Tukr). Tukr is the top producing male Pudelpointer "Stud Dog" in the breed's history. His progeny have gone on to be many top performing Versatile Hunting dogs. We are already seeing Tukr's fabulous traits in Lancr; he is a very confident dog with extreme human affection and an exceptionally powerful and athletic dog. His water entry is 15-20ft resembling that of his father. His pointing instinct is stylish, convincing, and intense, along with an exceptionally effective nose. He covers the field like a thoroughbred and his love for water is the mirror image of his father's !! Lancr most likely will be our best chukar hunting candidate with his 200-500 yard range in open country and also our best North Dakota pheasant choice with his adaptation to dense cover with a much closer range.
